Amadrums Trio

Wiktora Chrobak-Mielec, Rafal Tyliba, Maciej Halon studied at the Academy of Music in Krakow in the percussion class of Professor Jan Pilch and Stanisław Welanyk. The ensemble has worked together since 2007. Its repertoire includes works of contemporary percussion featuring different combinations of instruments; compositions containing elements of music theatre and electronic music, works stylistically similar to jazz and their own original compositions. The ensemble has performed at many important festivals in Poland and abroad.

The trio specializes in performing contemporary and light music. They have given a number of premieres of Polish works some of which were written specially for them. Trio Amadrums won the Grand Prix at the “Sounds New” XIV International Contemporary Chamber Music Competition and first prize at the II International Contest for Teachers of Schools of Music. During their concerts, the audience will be introduced to works which combine elements of different cultures.
